what a Sunday morning...

yup..told myself that i must blog this down but how could i?! i almost forgot bout it :p

anyway, it was last Sunday when i almost decided to sleep in instead of going for service (dun get me wrong, i already attended a Sat service..in case u say in ur heart 'lousy Leslie')..and we're back...ya, so i finally decided to wake my lazy body up n get ready for service.

it was supposed to start at 9.30am n i was early so decided to have breakfast 1st. as i sat down to eat my food, i saw this teenager talking to his mom (the owner of the food shop). before he left, he initiated to give his mom a peck on the cheek!!

did u read that?! a teenager! initiated the kiss!! in full view of the public!! nowadays, still got ppl show this kinda PDA (public display of affection)? i was honestly very shock (in a positive way)! that's when i told myself..this has to go to my blog entry.

in a fast pace, open, 1st world country like s'pore n still there are teenagers like that..i'm impressed! ya la..just 1 but still :)

snowie....

wah!! snowing in Korea!! n vola~ it's my 1st experience!! :)

yikes!! too small a pic to see the snow :) but anyway, it's a gd pic to show though..this is the view outside my hotel room. nice view with the illuminated Cross! i like!

also as me n a few other crew were 'jalan-ing' along Namdaeun (Korea's version of night market), there's this older looking aunty who came n wanted to give us some 'brochure'. naturally i rejected, didn't want them to waste their resources on foreigners like me :) but she insisted that we take it n so we obliged la..but it wasn't till she said 'hallelujiah' :) so i said, 'ok, i can have that.' apparently it's some article on Christianity. too bad, i understand no Korean language but i took it anyway :)

seems like Seoul has quite a bit of churches around the area. Ya, in case you didn't know, Korea also has the largest church in the world..pastored by Pastor Cho Yonggi.

Bird bath

literally :) have u ever seen it? A bird taking its bathe..the unfortunate thing is, it's not at any mini fountain (like most comic strips) but a puddle of stagnant water by the side.

quadbiking

heard of that before? it's actually a sport..a type of motorsport :) rather interesting n here's a pic of it..

yup! that's me on 1. initially this quadbiking was tough to handle! it's heavy n doesn't work like a motorbike. i had much difficulty with it..to the point of embarrassment! :p coz we did it in a group n 2 of my female colleagues were there too. but thank the Lord i manage to get a grip of it after awhile :) so it was sweet la...

basically, this machine won't allow u to fall unless u purposely wanna fall..of coz there's certain way of handling it that won't make you fall :)

anyway, the trail we were on was ok but a little narrow n so it's easy to go off tract n crash!

alrighty..so this is 1 of many to come experiences that i've had so far with my current job :) it's interesting coz i dun think i will ever do such a thing if i'm not attached to my current job..

quadbiking...not a must but do so if you have the $$...it cost me NZD 130 for it :) the ride was about an hour only

as i walk...

back from lunch just now..i realised i actually got lots of stuff that i can blog about! but somehow when i'm in front of the PC..i tend to forget or be too lazy to do nothing but chat :/ if nobody to chat with then i'll laze on my bed..sigh! wat a lazy fellow i am!!!!

no worries..i SHALL blog...but just later la ya :) i'll look thru my pics n see which to blog 1st...

Ups n downs

UPS! it's great when things in your life are on the 'up'! Money, work-life, social-life, relationship with family members and gf/wife...n not forgetting spiritual-life :)

it's just..great..the feeling..the knowledge n confidence you have knowing that you are heading towards the right direction, doing the right thing..it seems like..'yea man! i'm THERE! this is so right! so good!' 'I'm good!' is written all over your face kind of thing...

but on the contrary...

DOWNS! sigh..it's just..sigh! big time!wat's wrong? wat just was wrong?! have i caused it? have i unconsciously caused it?! if i did, sorry then. but to some, nope! that's not gd enuf! too bad..you will have to try harder!

of coz that's when things got wrong, a situation turned bad, relationship turned sour...but wat about something..this thing that's within the control of your 10fingers?! (not literally of coz)

sigh! yup..DOWN is really not gd..doesn't put u in the right frame of mind...all seems to be not working well for you...

and as for me?! yup..especially when something that touches my heart n i screw it all up! sigh...DOWN! not gd...

oh Lord, i have no more 'face' to come to You n ask for forgiveness..knowing full well your love n grace will embrace me over n over again only makes things worse! 'Get Your Holy Hands off me, Lord!' i cried..sometimes literally...but You wouldn't..just wouldn't...for thousand of years..Your beloved did the same..treated You the same...n thousand of years later..You reacted by..dying on the cruel Cross..all of us! all for me..to say it more selfishly :/

when will i change? when will my live show? when will my life reflect the glory of my Lord?!

my 1st time wearing an original pair of Oakley!! woohoo!!! alright..here it is :)

SHARKS!! suddenly i feel like i'm a narcissist as well!! but...have to show wat if not how you know how i look like?! but please..i'm no narcissist ok :)

well..i think i look ok but got comments say i dun look good :/ nvm la..as long as i like :) okie la...hehe..

hhmm...it's really different wearing original..fakies..they just dun give you the 'feel'...the 'feel' that is quite hard to describe..the plastic..the things you see thru the lens..is just different :)

n ya...after i bought it over the net..i realised..'hey, it's a birthday present for myself!!' :) yup..received a day before my 26th birthday...happy!!

oh btw, (yes i HAVE to mention this)..i got it over the net instead of any spec shop is coz..it's cheaper! but not after i customized it :) hehe.. :p well, if i wanna get a pair of spec..one n for all..might as well make it 1 that i really like...right?!? make sense right?! so i choose the frame color, the lens color n even the oakley logo by the side..the 'O' :) finally..i topped it with my name on the lens..it's small la..can't see it in this pic..

also!! i throw in for myself a reinforced nylon case to protect it :) okie la..this is the whole package..

yea...

finally got myself a pair of 2.1 speakers :) nothing great la but accessorizing my notebook..hehe...oh oh..also this screen protector..but sigh..i suck at sticking it to the screen even small small 1 like my mobile phone i also will get lots of bubble :/

so now my screen got this bubbles scattered everywhere..sigh...gd thing is..is not really obvious la..hopefully my own repair work later will help la..
