Finally! Finally..I found the time..and energy (not much of them now actually) to blog this Finale!
So i did blog backwards..you know the last event 1st and now back to the beginning of how it all happened.
To be really honest, most of the stuff is quite last min. I'm not sure how many of you thought that I've spent weeks or months on this but it all actually came about in approximately 3days :) well, other than the flower idea..which i thought about it for about a week.
Anyway, it was just supposed to be the flowers with the t/bear and i know there must a personalized card just that how it'll look like...no idea! :) the whole idea was only to bring her to the beach (not even the park royal beach since the parasailing idea wasn't even thot of yet!), enjoy the sunset with some sandwiches or something, show her some pics while i go get ready, call her to come over the my car n pop open my boot, walk out and pop the Q! i thot it was gd enuf..
UNTIL!
11/5,Sunday afternoon..a recently-married fren of mine told me that was lame :/ and suggested parasailing to me, as noted in part 2. he even lied about the price..saying it's only about RM30-40 per person which in actual fact it cost RM150!! monkey! between this time, i'm already cracking up my head on how to maximise this parasailing experience w/out whipping out the ring and yet still have the same effect..and so the banner :) also thot we could have some time alone up there ;)
Anyway, back track a bit
10/5,Sat evening..while she was away for a wedding dinner..i was at supper with the fren who arranged the flowers for me..discussing on how we should go about it and all..he still had to get the consensus of his mom..the mastermind behind it
11/5, Sun afternoon..celebrated Mother's Day and had some dimsum in the morning..she was out celebrating after church as well. while she was still at it, i stole some time to go check out the t/bears. went to Gurney..disappointed! Next stop, 1-Stop..ahh! found it! :) since i was on my way to her place, i told the salesperson that i'll be back to get it tomolo.
1 down (t/bear)! 3 more to go...(flowers, card and banner)
12/5, Mon early in the wee hour..after coming back from her place..figured i should think of how the card and banner should look like..as usual, i like to multi-task :) i was on my throne and thinking..just like stuff coming out from my rear end..my creative juices came out from my mind!..ah ha! out came 'WWYM'..well, there's actually some history to why i(we) like 4letter words :) too long an entry already..next time maybe
12/5,Mon morning..which is D-Day! woke up slightly early and thot i have lots of time and so i 'relek' a bit la..went out only at 11am to get the cloth, cards, spray and misc. and reach home at bout 12.15..by then i realise i'm super late as i'm supposed to meet her after her lunch which is about 1.30pm!! in between also, i went to buy the t/bear, meet up w the fren who helped me out with the flowers to pass the t/bear to him..btw, he only went to get the flowers at 2.30pm..and they still have to de-thorn 150 roses, arrange it and get it done by 7pm :) kudos to them!! thanks again! thank God her plans ran late and so i have some time to complete the banner and card! phew..
Also there were lots of calls in that afternoon about my evening and i have to pretend that we were talking bout other stuff as she was with me..thank God again that she's blur ;)
so all in all, you can say..the physical work is done only on D-Day itself :) how last min. can you get? BUT..it still went well..although the extra surprise wasn't called for..all of us still enjoyed ourselves..
