Pedestrian crossing

have you ever noticed that pedestrian who uses those pedestrian crossings (I have to mention it this way because most pedestrian don't use the pedestrian crossing) that have the proper red/green light for them likes to press the button for at least 5times or more? their fingers are just so automatic and press X5....if you are thinking that nowadays kids are spoilt with all these P, PSP, Playstation or wthatever games (coz most games require rapid pressing on the joypad) or even SMSes...WRONG!!! it happens to even old folks! it has been a few weeks that i wanted to blog bout this but somehow it slipped my mine until this morning when i came back from breakfast, i saw this old folk who just pressed the button for 8times! yes! i counted coz i was waiting for it to turn green. And even before it turned green, this old folk pressed a few more times again!!

i mean..what in the world is going thru these people's mind?! pressing it once, twice or 8X won't speed it up. Where did they get the idea that it would?

Actually, i'm quilty of it too :p it's just so natural to press the button a few times (at least 3X, try me..see it for yourself next time) whatever that spurs our mind to do so, it's funny..it's funny to see human's behavior..to take notice of ppl when they don't know that they are being watched..those little gestures..silent lip-syncing..AND those little eyes that so often roam all over another person :)
